Organic Gardens

DM runs a self-sustaining farm which provides food to the students and staff of the school. Given the remoteness of the Center, students and teachers reside ‘on campus’ during the courses. The extensive organic gardens and farm provides fresh, delicious vegetables, cheese, eggs and other foods year round. In addition, the choice to grow and eat organic is deliberate and consistent with DM’s environmental mission. We share our knowledge and practical expertise with our neighbors in the community. The Gardens too serve as part of the Tourism Demonstration Center.
